Superior Diecutting is proud to announce the completion of our year 2000 expansion. The first of the year we were able to purchase an adjacent building to give us a little breathing room. In July we installed a brand new 45.5" Polar cutter with a jogging table and air removal roller. This cutter is something we have needed for a long time. In addition to taking in cutting work, it allows us to run our presses much faster without those ugly "nicks" on most products.
Next, we upgraded our die shop with the addition of a cad system and computerized samplemaker. This allows us to actually produce a cut and scored sample from your disk or emailed file before the die is committed to wood and steel. Any alterations can then be done without costly press time being lost. This should also be a valuable tool for your salespeople to utilize.

Our last installation is a new, large format folder gluer. We got this one with all the bells and whistles including hot melt glue, transfer tape heads, and capability to do auto-lock bottom boxes, cd sleeves, 4 panel folders, etc. While no gluer does everything, this gives us a significant advantage over the competition on those odd products and longer runs.
